Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance

You can choose from three medical coverage options: MedStar Select, CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield PPO, or Kaiser Permanente HMO.* Dental coverage is provided through Delta Dental PPO, and vision coverage is available through CareFirst (Davis Vision).

Flexible Spending Accounts

You can receive up to $3,050 per year for your healthcare account and up to $5,000 per year for dependent care expenses.

Life, Accidental Death, and Disability Benefits

MedStar provides employer-paid Basic Life/AD&D insurance equal to your annual base salary, Short-Term Disability with full pay for up to 26 weeks after six months of employment, and Long-Term Disability covering 60% of your salary (up to $15,000/month) after six months of disability.**

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Full-time physicians receive up to 30 days of PTO annually for illness, vacation, or personal time off, nine holidays (seven legal and two personal), and five CME days per year.**

Provider Concierge helps you reclaim some of your time and make life more manageable by taking advantage of our work/life services, including childcare and adult care referrals, support for legal and financial matters, and convenience care for daily life needs (like finding pet care or movers, planning a vacation, and more).
