About MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital
After more than 55 years of caring for our neighbors, MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital has a strong presence in the Baltimore community. Our mission is guided by Catholic teachings to provide compassionate, inclusive, and connected care to the communities we are entrusted to serve.
Long known as a specialty center for rehabilitation and orthopaedics, MedStar Good Samaritan has expanded its range of health care services to better serve those in our community. Our anchor services include inpatient rehabilitation in partnership with MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital, geriatrics through the Center for Successful Aging, management of chronic illnesses through the Good Health Center and Collaborative Care Program with Food Rx, cancer care through the MedStar Health Cancer Network, wound care, hyperbaric medicine, and limb saving as part of the MedStar Health Wound Healing Institute, surgical specialties, and interventional radiology as well as primary and specialty care, emergency medicine, lab services, diagnostic imaging and access to orthopaedics and heart and vascular care.
MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital is strategically positioned to meet the demands of health care today and well into the future. Together with MedStar Union Memorial Hospital, which has more than 170-year history and is three miles away, we are transforming how health care is delivered.
